| ３．メッセージ | 私は小学校をカナダで過ごし、中学生になるタイミングで日本に戻ってきました。海外生活が長かった私は、当初日本の文化になじめず、日本語も中学1年生の時点で満足に書けない状態だったため、いじめを受けて他の生徒や教師から孤立してしまいました。ルールや思いやりが無下にされることで悲惨な体験をしたのだと思った私は、そんな理不尽を取り払える人間になりたいと思い弁護士を目指しました。
日々の生活を送る上で「Respect each other」という言葉を大切にしています。私がカナダで通っていた小学校の校訓です。カナダにはさまざまな人種やいろんな文化を持った人たちが暮らしているので、お互いを認め合い、理解し合い、尊敬し合うという価値観が根付いていました。そういった価値観をもっと浸透させたいと思い、小学生を対象にした「いじめ防止授業」という活動に取り組んでいます。私が実際に受けたいじめの経験をもとに、具体的で身近なこととしてお話しするように心掛けています。 もし理不尽な出来事に直面したときは、自分の心を守る判断をしてほしいです。そのために家族や友人に相談するのもよいでしょう。ただし、あらゆる法律を用いてあなたを守ることができるのは、弁護士だけです。人の心はそれほど頑丈なものではありません。苦しい思いをこらえ続けずお早めにご相談してください。 |

| 3- Message | Hello, my name is Yuki Tomita. My favorite word is “respect each other”. I was in Montreal, Canada when I was in elementary school. In school we were taught and believed to respect each other’s differences no matter their cultures, race,and religion . I’m taking part in the activity of the children’s rights committee to share the precious things they taught me in Canada. Every child should be respected and be needed. The reason I became a Lawyer was a threatening experience of discrimination as a returnee when I was in junior high school. Nobody in the classroom(even the teachers) minded about the rules of the society (no need to say basic human rights). People’s minds are not as tough as we think. So take the decision to defend yourself. We lawyers could be the one to defend you as the legal position. So do not hesitate to contact us. |
